LEGO’s dropped a brand-new offering from its fan-designed Ideas series: the Minifigure Vending Machine.
Officially listed as set 21358, this is a fully buildable, old-school gacha-style vending machine that spits out LEGO minifigs in little capsules.
The set comes with 1343 pieces, including 16 retro-themed minifigures. Among the themes are Castle, Paradisa (remember those pastel beach sets?), Fabuland, and of course, Classic Space. It’s a Lego time machine for your shelf — except you build it, and it eats plastic coins instead of 20-cent pieces.
Designed by Belgian fan Rob Vangansewinkel, this beauty started as a LEGO Ideas project — and now it’s a legit set. Pop in one of the Lego coins, turn the crank, and out rolls a mystery minifig in a capsule. So it’s part toy, part display piece, part dopamine dispenser.

If you’re a Lego tragic or just want something a bit quirky for the office shelf, this one’s hard to resist.
WHEN: Lego Insiders on June 1, with everyone else getting access June 4.
PRICE: AU$249.99 (US$179.99 / £149.99 / €169.99), which is on the premium side — but hey, you’re paying for nostalgia, not logic.
