When you first read that this video games-inspired concept is named INSTEROID, the 1979 arcade hit Asteroids might come to mind as the inspiration.
Well, you’d be wrong, and you should be ashamed. What does Asteroids have to do with a car clearly designed with racing in mind? You fool.
Nope, the influence for the second half (or latter three quarters…) of this Inster-based concept’s name is the organic compound of proven medical purpose and zero shadiness: steroid.
You’d have known that if you kept reading Hyundai’s press release, because that’s when you learn that its name “reflects the funky, youthful and muscular nature of this show car”.
Not even pretending, are they. 😂 Steroids are in, baby!
Name aside, Hyundai’s new Inster-based concept looks like it’ll have the requisite sculpting to impress the judges at the Mr Universe pageant or wherever it first appears for its early April unveiling.
