Name a more iconic duo, I’ll wait.
This is the news we needed in 2024: Bluey and her little sister Bandit are taking over Australia’s massive hardware chain Bunnings, bringing their even more iconic Hammerbarn brand to six stores around the country – and one in New Zealand, too.
The takeover runs for all of February, with each store taking on Hammerbarn branding in place of the Bunnings signage that so closely inspired the fictional mega hardware.

“We’re excited to be working with BBC Studios and Ludo Studio to bring Hammerbarn to life in stores across the country,” Bunnings chief executive Ryan Baker says.
“Our team across Australia have had kids and parents referring to Bunnings as Hammerbarn ever since the episode aired, so making this a reality in our stores for customers is really special.
“We wanted the Hammerbarn experience to be accessible to as many Bluey fans and customers as we could, so it’s great to have a Hammerbarn transformation in each state – even down to the kids trolleys that have been rebranded.”
BBC Studios director of brands and licensing ANZ, Kate O’Connor, said: “Bluey is so relatable because it’s all about growing up as a kid in Australia, and going to Bunnings, a.k.a Hammerbarn, on the weekend is one of those quintessential Aussie experiences we all love.”
Where is Hammerbarn?!

As the highly detailed map above shows, the all-too-temporary Hammerbarn locations are at Keperra QLD (the store that originally inspired the episode!), Blacktown NSW, Carrum Downs VIC, Munno Para West SA, Cannington WA, Glenorchy TAS and Glenfield NZ.
Thankfully, if the Hammerbarns are too far away, your kids can still enjoy some Bluey activities at every other Bunnings store, like Bluey-themed DIY workshops every weekend in February and a scavenger hunt.
- Workshop 1 (3-4 February): Bluey Sand Art and Decorating
- Workshop 2 (10-11 February): D.I.Y. Bluey Kaleidoscope
- Workshop 3 (17-18 February): Bluey and Bingo Plaster Character Painting
- Workshop 4 (24-25 February): D.I.Y. Hecuba Pot Plant
And, of course, there’s a bunch of Bluey products on the shelves too. She’s a real little earner, that one!
- Bluey Hammerbarn garden gnomes – Hecuba, Tony, Meditation and Jeremy, RRP $19 each
- Bluey licensed pet toys, RRP $8 – $12
- Bluey licensed craft kits, RRP $10 – $12
- Hammerbarn bucket hat, RRP $7
