If you need a 2025 wall calendar but you’d like something a little more unique than what they’re offering this year, here are some older years that match 2025 – and one awesome calendar you can print!

Way back in 2023, I posted about the calendars of the past that you could pick up if you wanted a retro, 2023-valid calendar for your home.
I went with an unopened 1975 Star Wars calendar, but there were of course quite a few other options out there!
Now, in 2025, my office calendar is the brilliant annual wall hanger from Yeaaah Studio, run by the immensely talented Stéphane Casier.
👇 But, if you’d like to stick with the authentic retro vibes, these are the years you could go searching under. Each of the years below is a day-and-date match for the year 2025!
| 2025 | NOW! 🥳 |
| 2014 | 11 years before |
| 2003 | 22 years before |
| 1997 | 28 years before |
| 1986 | 39 years before |
| 1975 | 50 years before |
| 1969 | 56 years before |
| 1958 | 67 years before |
| 1947 | 78 years before |
| 1941 | 84 years before |
| 1930 | 95 years before |
So, depending on where your retro passions lay, any of the above years and decades could be right up your alley.
What next? All you need to do now is head to a site like eBay (not sponsored!) and run a search for something like ‘1997 calendar’. Be warned – unless you search for a specific genre or brand, you’ll see some nudity!
You’ll get loads of great results though, varying from inexpensive to very much the opposite, and from used to unused. This original X-Men 1997 calendar is quite pricey, but this pre-owned 1997 Beavis & Butthead calendar is pretty good value! Go back a little further, and this 1986 Star Trek calendar is a treat at 40 bucks USD.
🔼 If you’d like to try something different, you could print out these high-resolution page scans from the 1975 Marvel Comics calendar, provided by the Taint the Meat blog. It’s a pretty stellar line-up of artists and superheroes.
What was your 2024 calendar? Have you already got one for 2025? It’s late January, after all!
