Okay, so, the first decent look we got at this was way back in July 2024, out of the San Diego Comic Con.
Frankly I nearly forgot it was coming, but oh my god I’m even more excited now. This looks terrific.
It’s even more clear now that the film is set in the ’50s, at least initially. One figures they’ll have to be thrown forward into the wider MCU at some point, right?
On the other hand, maybe they’ll just continue to live in their own little pocket universe for a while? I certainly wouldn’t mind. The MCU is freaking exhausting.
Anyway, this trailer. Damn. Ben cooking is a brilliant scene to get the vibe right. Actually, here’s hoping Ben meets Alicia soon! Perhaps that who Natasha Lyonne is playing? It’ll be interesting to see what vibe she plays, since she usually just plays herself… (No complaints here!)
That gets me wondering about John Malkovich’s role. Alicia’s stepfather, the villainous Puppet Master? 🤔
