Samsung has teased its super thin new Galaxy Z Fold 7 again, and now it’s leaked as well!

Look how slim this thing is, sheesh.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has appeared again, this time in the form of large cardboard stand for in-store advertising.
Where we couldn’t see much of its detail in the earlier teaser (scroll down), this latest photo reveals just show slim the new foldable phone will be.
The real thing should be a fair bit smaller, though… 😉

These images appeared on the case maker’s own website.
Now we see how huge the camera bump will need to be on such a thin body! Feels like a good time to go for a Pixel-style horizontal camera bar, so that it at least wouldn’t rock on a table, and would be angled toward the viewer… (although the Pixel Fold dropped that style.)
June 10: Galaxy Z Fold 7 officially teased
I last tried the foldable phone phenomenon with the current Galaxy Z Fold 6, but its external screen is too narrow and the folded depth is too damn thick – so I sold it and went for the standard S25 Ultra.
Looking at this latest teaser (below), though… damn. There’s an embarrassingly real chance that I’ll be changing phones yet again. 😂
Samsung says this will be its “thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldable yet” – and that last point gives me hope that it won’t just be an underpowered skinny companion to a flagship version that’s no thinner than the 6.

According to 9to5Google, the new Z Fold 7 will debut sometime next month, but Samsung has yet to announce a specific date.
Their report adds that the Z Fold 7 is expected to be 9mm thick when closed and just 4.54mm thick when open.
The Z Fold 6 is 12.2mm thick closed, so that’s a pretty decent improvement – especially compared to the current king, the Oppo Find N5.
Warm-ish take: Samsung should drop the Z from the name of its current Fold, and use it on the rumoured tri-fold it’s apparently planning. The shape of the letter Z is a perfect representation of a tri-fold!
