Need something like a pomodoro timer to keep you focused on the day’s tasks? There are millions of apps for that, but nothing as stylish as this little block.

Zone refines time‑management to its barest essentials: a soft, silicone‑coated cube with four rounded edges, with each edge linked to a preset focus or break duration.
The defaults are (5, 10, 25, and 60 minutes, but these are customisable to suit your needs.
Using it looks like a piece of cake: just rotate the cube to activate a session. Creator Nyckle Sijtsma says the design strips away stress: no granular countdowns, just a muted LED display and a calming vibraphone chime at session’s end.

Inside, it houses a custom circuit board, a 600‑nit screen and a 1000mAh rechargeable battery built for regular use.
A richer package, the Focus Bundle, expands Zone into a modular productivity kit. Included are four glass whiteboards in a bamboo tray, intended for planning, brainstorming or sketching between timed sessions.
There are three colours available: Midnight Focus, Daylight Clarity and Blue Flow.

It’s on Kickstarter now, and at the time of writing, it’s blown past an initial A$8400 goal, currently sitting on A$62,000 in pledges.
Prices are listed in euros, and there’s a 25% discount for early pledgers on the standalone device.
That means one Zone is €59 (about A$104), while a Focus Bundle has a 39% discount right now, making it €79 (about A$140).
So, it ain’t cheap, but stylish desktop gadgets rarely are!
Check it out on Kickstarter now.
